This template is intended to make it easy to link to version update articles. Users do not have to type cumbersome text such as "[[Version 2.0.0 (Splatoon 2)|2.0.0]]". If there are any changes to the naming conventions for update articles in the future, only this template would need to be changed, making wiki maintenance easier.
