Flores vs. Brochetas dulces[1] Era un Festival Evento en Splatoon 2. Se llevó a cabo solo en Japón. Fue anunciado el 23 febrero 2018. Los resultados se dieron el 4 marzo 2018.
Detalles
Este Festival se basa en el modismo japonés "花より団子" (hana yori dango, literalmente significa "[preferir] las Brochetas dulces a las Flores"), es decir, una preferencia por lo práctico sobre lo puramente estético. El nombre en inglés utilizado en Private Battles usa una transliteración de las dos palabras japonesas, mientras que la utilizada en el sitio web de Splatoon Base las traduce a las palabras en inglés.[1]

Trivia
- Europe and Japan became known for their winning streaks for Pearl and Marina respectively. However, Japan was the first to refer to a winning streak in-game, as during the Flowers vs. Dumplings Splatfest announcement, Pearl angrily complained about losing so many Splatfests in a row. Pearl ended up winning this Splatfest.
- Chicken vs. Egg, the North American, Oceanian, and European Splatfest that occurred the week after Flowers vs. Dumplings, was also a spring-themed Splatfest based on an adage.
